Like The Vines drowning in an oil slick, Zico Chain are a messy and – on a first listen, at least – interesting prospect.

But Nine Black Alps’ middling success proved the world still isn’t ready for note-perfect Nirvana imitators, and despite their protestations to the contrary, that’s what they are. ‘All Eyes On Me’ is still a corking track, though.
