Edinburgh is famously a city frothing with culture. It hosts the biggest and longest-running arts festival in the world, that’s no secret. But it was never ordinarily breaking boundaries with its ‘sick’ music scene. However, history and future are colliding at the moment: musical radiation, yeah! Your dusty old folk scene has been quarantined and Edinburgh now has a shit-hot indie and electro movement.
You get the best of both worlds here – a bangin’ club/gig culture and a highly picturesque setting. What more could you want? The architecture is stunning, there are amazing art galleries, vintage clothes shops and quality charity stores teeming with bargains AND there are ace clubs on most nights of the week. University life in Edinburgh is well and truly nocturnal.
