It’s a basic premise. Grab a stonking great bus, furnish it with four of the hottest bands in the country right now and take them to demolish a whole bunch of gaggin’ for some new music towns across the country. It’s a sure fire way to acquaint yourself with some of the freshest music about. Every year the bill grows more exciting and this year’s tour is no exception boasting the spanking talents of The Rumble Strips, Blood Red Shoes, Pull Tiger Tail and The Little Ones.

They’re songs sound like Tequila and taco fuelled Tex-Mex bar room brawls, but with a sweet tasting ending. Trumpet wielding towns-folk The Rumble Strips play rough but very-ready oddball folk-pop, like an extra-ace Mystery Jets if they visited the barbers (and picked up a quartet) and squared up their facial hair. Sure, it’s offbeat, but that just adds to the charm.
