From one of the greatest live events of the 70's. Concert For Bangladesh brought together some of the top musicians of the day for relief to the starving country of Bangladesh. The brainchild of Ravi Shankar and George Harrison, when asked to help... some of the greatest legends in Rock showed up ...and didn't take a penny. This is the Indian Music portion of the show. Ravi Shankar is possibly the greatest Sitar player ever. Ths is pretty amazing if you are unfamiliar with Indian music or the Sitar. Of trivia note.. Ravi Shankar is the father of Jazz singer Norah Jones. Enjoy... Better times...Better Place
