Bosnia The Cranberries video

A homemade video for the song "Bosnia" by The Cranberries. There are images of brutality and beauty here and I will not apologize for either. Too many times we turn away from the reality of mankind's capacity to visit hell upon those who seem "different", who threaten the security of one way of thinking or being. Those who live during wartime in the middle of the hell have nowhere to go to get away from it, and they do not have the luxury to hide their eyes. A great many of my friends are Bosnian refugees and I hope that whatever bad memories or tears or nightmares visit them even now... That the time shall come when they know peace. "Bosnia" from the cd "For The Faithful Departed" by The Cranberries, copyright 1996 by Island Records. Video Production by Li Li Parsons 2008. The images are from variety of sources, made public. Some are originally from the Associated Press, some are from photojournalists who covered the war.
