DEADLINE EXTENDED!!! I decided that two weeks probably isn't enough time for people to have time to make a video or drawing and post/email it to me, so now you have till the end of March! Tell all your friends to enter! DO IT! My band, Beasts and Superbeasts got accepted to so go the South by South West (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas! It'll be our first international show so to celebrate we're having a drawing contest! SHOW INFO: Where: the Wave Rooftop, 408 E 6th St WHEN: March 12th WHAT TIME: at 9pm sharp! So if you're coming to SXSW or know someone who is, tell them to come see us play!!! To enter, draw yourself as a Beast or Superbeast and post your video as a response! You can get programs that film whatever you do on your computer screen so if you're drawing it on your computer you can film that even if you don't have a camera! For those of you without cameras who are drawing by hand you can send a .jpg of your drawing to beasts.superbeasts@gmail.com DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: March 9th, 2008! A Beast or Superbeast can be anything you want it to be! Pick a few animals who you think share traits with you and stick their body parts together to make your own personal hybrid! The winning drawing will not only get a free CD, Shirt and button but will also be featured on our myspace, (we don't have a website yet) and not only will it be featured in the video saying who won the contest but if all three of use love it we might just use it on buttons or shirts and things! or even a CD cover if it's super awesome and the person doesn't mind!
