CVHS Talent show 2007 - Fukai Mori - piano/singing video

Me playing piano and singing with my favorite Do as Infinity song, Fukai Mori. Performance recorded by my dad. I got the sheet music from yume-mi.com (now defunct), which had the melody and some harmony, and made my own duet version to it with more harmony. I can play both parts, just not at the same time, as I don't have four hands. XD That's what keyboard playback's for. But that's me there, playing my duet part and singing the melody. Kristin (next to me at the finale) was going to do the flute part... *nudges Kiwi* Oh well. I could have used the instrumental version, but people said they liked me singing with/over Van's voice. So, those of you who haven't heard the song and can't tell, that's not just my voice alone. Just making that clear. The beginning was weird because we were having technical difficulties. There was a bit of a false start there...I was squinting at the sound dude from under the lights. I kind of flinched when the music started because it was playing too loud. And I wished I noticed that I had to turn the in-ear on first...that would have helped things a bit. So if I sound a little strained on some of those notes, it's because the sound levels were messed up. But, yeah... Everything worked out. And I got to scare people with the fact that I was "indirectly wearing a condom." XD (They put one on the mic thingie clipped to my waist to protect it. The thing that the headset connects to and commmunicates with the sound control) That made for some awkward and funny conversations. I can just imagine my teacher trying to explain the purchase: "They're for the talent show performances!" "...What kind of talent would that be...?? O___o;"
