From campjinx.com: I never thought it would be possible for myself and my two-year-old daughter to be equally enthusiastic about a band. I was sorely mistaken. My daughter and I saw Dan Zanes & Friends on their last trip through the Chicago area a couple months ago. Dan was gracious enough to not only let us film a couple songs, but he also sat down to talk for a few minutes between shows. His new album, Catch That Train has been played approximately 6.2 million times in our home since its release in May. I don't think I can overestimate the effect that the discovery of this music has had on our family. It's created a real shared musical experience between Megan, myself and Josie that, honestly, would not have existed if it weren't for Dan's records. At least not at such an early age. After our brief interview after the show, I came away with even a greater respect for what Dan does. His integrity, creative vision, sense of history and willingness to take risks are traits that I think are admirable no matter what your age or artistic stripe.
