Tapping Harmonics by Kotaro Oshio 押尾コータロー「タッピング・ハーモニクス」 video

押尾コータローさんの代表的なテクニック「タッピング・ハーモニクス」と左指だけで演奏するテクニックを解説したビデオです。張られた弦の中間点をたたくと１オクターブ上のハーモニクスが得られます。それに、表面板を叩いてリズムを入れると、押尾サウンドらしくなります。弦を叩いた時に、指と弦が接着している時間が長すぎると切れが悪くなりますので、すばやく叩くのがコツで小。左手だけで弾く場合は、指を打ちおろして音を出し、さらにその指をはじいて音を出します。これは押尾さんによれば観衆を楽しませるパーフォーマンスとして使っているそうです。まあ、相当訓練しないといけませんね(笑）。なお、素人ギタリストとして佐藤Ｂ作さんとレスラーの高田さんが参加しています。 This video showed super guitar technique of Kotaro Oshio. He can solely play 4 parts of music, and has some super technique such as tapping harmonics or left-handed solo-playing, etc. In this video, you can see the slow motion video of tapping harmonics. He produced this in his early era to avoid audience get out from the live house. Further, he taught the technique to Mr.Takada(wrestler)and B-saku Sato(comedian). If you tap the strings on the midway points of the strings, you can get harmonics.
