This video was a result of an idea my husband, Michael Fess (composer, musician, video-producer), had to honor my father, Homer C. Ledford's life. Michael created this video as a gift to our family. It contains video footage from the HomeFront show in Louisville, KY (courtesy Phyllis Krall--thanks Becca!), as well as various photos of Homer and his family. Photo highlights include Homer working in his shop, playing a musical saw, Homer with former Kentucky governor,Paul Patton, photos of some of his handcrafted instruments, and pictures of the historical marker erected in his honor in Winchester, KY. You will see a cover of the book written by Homer, "See Ya Further Up the Creek," and most special of all, a handwritten journal entry from Thanksgiving, 2000, signed and dated by Homer C. Ledford. The video concludes with, Edel Weiss from one of Homer's albums. This sweet song was one of Homer's favorites. We hope you enjoy this tribute to my Dad.~Cindy Ledford Fess
