iPod is shuffling LR channels video

I just want to know whether this is iPod nano 4G's problem or my problem. I'd be more than happy if somebody could testify that it's not mine. The iPod nano 4G I bought the other day has been showing a strange behavior, which is that sometimes the sounds coming from the left earphone and the right one are the other way round. At first I thought I had attached the earphones in a wrong way, but I didn't. Neither was it the defect of the earphones. After some trials, I've discovered that depending on the timing of turning on the power, this phenonemon appears by 50% probability. I just wonder: Is this particular to my ipod? For the testing, I used an MP3 file in which the sound is recorded only in the Lch (left channel). It's put here: http://www.geocities.jp/fixer_hpa/ipodLR/index.htm Notes: 1. The power can be turned on/off by pressing the 'play' button for a few seconds. 2. The movie picture's left and right are not related to what's recorded. Will you test it with your own ipod?
