Bob Weigel of http://sounddoctorin.com gives a brief note on the commonly failing rubber contacts with conductive material impregnated into the rubber. These contacts are used in many synthesizers from the 1980's to current date. Sometimes alcohol and scrubbing will repair them but if not feel free to send them here and I'll try to rejuvenate them for you at minimal charge or I also have some new ones in stock for a few machines. These are getting more difficult to find for some of the older ones of course. Synths including the Alesis QS series, Later Moogs including Memorymoog, Later Oberheim OB-8's and Matrix 6/12, the Korg Polysix, Poly-61, Poly-61M, Poly-800, DS8, Roland JUNO-60, JUNO-106, JX-3P, JX-8, JX-10, D series, S series, Sequential Circuits Prophet 600, Six-Trak, Multi-Trak, Split-8/ Pro-8, Max, and many other synths use this type of movement
