SHOCK ~ 2007 REHEARSAL for MASQUE REUNION kbd LA punk video

Here's some rough footage of 1970s L.A. punk pioneers SHOCK ("This Generation's On Vacation") rehearsing Saturday, November 10, 2007 for that following day's legendary MASQUE REUNION SHOW at the Echoplex in Los Angeles. This rehearsal marked the first time that SHOCK's three original band members (Paul Lesperance on vocals, Steve Reina on bass, and Kip Brown on guitar) played with new drummer, Travis Ramin (who replaced SHOCK's original drummer, Gaylord, who, sadly, was killed in a car accident back in November 2003; Travis graciously flew in from Minneapolis especially to take part in the show). This rehearsal also marked only the second time since SHOCK officially disbanded back in 1979 that the three original members have played together as a band. This footage was part of a two-camera shoot, hence the extended closeup shots of feet tapping, drum tapping, etc. The footage from both cameras will eventually be edited into a more cohesive piece. http://www.myspace.com/KipBrown http://www.EarCandy.com
