Slipknot is happy with their latest record, Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses, but vocalist Corey Taylor said that it was not a happy experience overall. Taylor didn't like working with Rick Rubin, the esteemed producer who has once again become the flavor of the month. During an interview with Taylor and Root in support of the forthcoming Stone Sour album, Taylor at first said, "my grandmother told me if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything." He and Root then offered the following for Rubin and the studio experience for the Knot's most recent album.
