Bajar - Nêz Be - B'xatire Te Album: Bajar (2009) Band: Bajar Band Artists: Vedat Yildirim, Burak Korucu, Ari Hergel, Cansun Kucukturk, Ferhat Gunes, Erdem Goymen Song: B'xatire Te Label: Kalan Euphrates flows into the Sea of Marmara Vedat Yildirim, continuing his adventure in music with the Kardes Turkuler Project ,which promoted a different understanding of music in Turkey from its multicultural perspective. The group infuses this sensitivity with alternative rock music. Its musical sound tries to catch the intercrossed metropolitan culture via both Turkish and Kurdish compositions. The project weaves together the traditions of the modal music of the Middle East and Western Rock music. It is also giving voice to the neglected daily issues through a variety of themes such as discrimination resulting from cultural hierarchy, and the signs the new cultural norms have in everyday relations. The music also expresses a sense of protest akin to punk and traditional black music.
