Eminem Drake diss track reports are denied

Pair previously collaborated on the 2009 track 'Forever'

Rumours that Eminem is set to drop a diss track about Drake have been denied.

Hot 97 Radio presenter Ebro Darden described a private conversation he recently had with Drizzy on the New York show yesterday morning (August 3), which suggested a track might be about to drop.

“I told Drake I heard the rumour was that Eminem was gonna gear up to come after him,” he said. “And [Drake] laughed, and he said, ‘That’s not gonna happen. He’ll never do that. And if he did I got something for him, too.’”

Eminem and Drake previously appeared on the 2009 track ‘Forever’, which also featured Kanye West and Lil Wayne.

Darden later took Twitter, explaining that it was all a prank. “It was such a joke and people ran with it…Slow news day. Drake got too much respect for all that.”

In a second tweet he added: “Facts we was joking…Talked about in jest & fools jumped out the window. I ain’t even think it was a big deal.”

Meanwhile, Kanye West recently hinted that he could be about to release a collaborative album with Drake, teasing the project during his surprise OVO Fest guest appearance earlier this week.

Drake headlined the final day of his specially curated Toronto festival, bringing out West, Rihanna, Future and French Montana for cameos during his set.

During West’s appearance, the Chicago rapper asked the crowd: “Is y’all ready for this album?” He then added: “I wasn’t talking about [‘The Life Of Pablo’]. I wasn’t talking about ‘Views’. I wanna ask y’all right now: Are y’all ready for this album?”, before gesturing to himself and Drake.”
