Michael Jackson fans believe he’s still alive after ‘spotting him’ in daughter’s selfie

Jackson fans believe pile of clothes in Paris’ Instagram snap is late singer

Fans of Michael Jackson believe the singer is still alive after spotting him in a selfie taken by his daughter Paris.

Paris Jackson posted a photo on Instagram in May, which features a pile of clothes on the passenger seat next to her.

But, in the last few days, fans of Jackson say the clothes are the late singer in disguise. Jackson died in 2009, when Paris was 11. Taken while Paris was travelling around the Joshua Tree in California, the photo is captioned: “If you give a little love, you get a little love of your own.”

A video on YouTube shows Paris’ photo, zooming in on the foreground until it eventually turns into her father’s face. It was posted by user Believe, who regularly posts videos claiming Jackson’s death was a hoax.

The rumours surrounding the photo have intensified after Jackson’s 19-year-old son Prince Jackson wrote a poem in honour of his late father. Its lines include: “To many he is a king/To me a man/All he inspires/To lead a noble cause/Everyone is family, not a fan even while receiving thunderous applause.”

Jackson died shortly before he was due to begin a comeback residency of concerts at London’s O2 Arena. He was heavily medicated at the time of his death, with his personal physician Conrad Murray sentenced to four years in prison in 2011 for involuntary manslaughter.
