Watch Catfish and the Bottlemen’s dramatic video for their new single ‘Longshot’

It's their first new music in over three years

Catfish and the Bottlemen have released their brand new single ‘Longshot’ – check out the new track below, along with its dramatic accompanying video.

The four-piece hinted at a big announcement last week, presenting fans with a countdown that ended this evening (January 8) and delivered on the promise of brand new music.

‘Longshot’ is the first new material to emerge from the band in over three years, and is officially out now after premiering on Annie Mac’s Future Sounds segment on BBC Radio 1 this evening.

The track has also received an official video: directed by long-term collaborator Jim Canty and filmed on a cliff-top in South Shields, the clip presents a bird’s-eye-view of frontman Van McCann arriving in style to join the rest of the band in performing the new song.

Check out the video for Catfish and the Bottlemen’s single ‘Longshot’ below.

The new song will feature on Catfish and the Bottlemen’s upcoming new album, although few details about that record have been made available as yet. The four-piece haven’t released an album since their 2016 LP ‘The Ride’, which scored the band their first-ever UK number one album. That record followed on from their September 2014 debut ‘The Balcony’.

Catfish and the Bottlemen will take ‘Longshot’ on their upcoming UK arena tour, which kicks off in Nottingham next month. See their full schedule below and grab any remaining tickets here.
