Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst share ‘Dylan Thomas’ video and announce Better Oblivion Community Center UK and world tour

Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst have shared the surreal, bewitching music video for new single ‘Dylan Thomas’, as well as announcing UK, European and US tour dates as Better Oblivion Community Center.

Last week saw the duo release their acclaimed surprise collaboration album under the name ‘Better Oblivion Community Center‘. Now the duo have unveiled the video, directed by  Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner.

“Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst are two of my favorite songwriters and lyricists of our time, so it was an honour to get to work with them on the visuals for their new project together,” said Zauner. “As always I worked with Adam Kolodny, my DP and creative collaborator to bring this cross between an Eyes Wide Shut LA mansion party and the Great Northern Hotel to life.”

Not only that, but the duo have announced new tour dates kicking off in March – culminating with shows in Bristol, Manchester and London in May.

Speaking to NME about what to expect from the tour, Bridgers said: “I think we’re going to try to have fun with it, but we’re not quite sure what [the setlist will be yet].”

Oberst added: “The record is only 40 or so minutes, so in order for us to do a headline set we’re going to have to come up with some more material. I think [we’ll do] covers and maybe reworking some of our own songs too.”
