Official footage has emerged of the brilliant moment that Dave Grohl performed Audioslave‘s ‘Show Me How To Live’ at Chris Cornell’s recent memorial concert.

The tribute to the late singer took place in January and saw fans being treated to a rare on-stage collaboration between Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, and Audioslave members Tom Morello and Brad Wilk.

The all-star line up paid tribute to Cornell with an emotional performance of Audioslave’s ‘Show Me How to Live’, and high quality footage of the performance has now arrived on Cornell’s official Instagram.

While it’s yet to be revealed whether the entire show will be released, the footage would suggest that a full release could perhaps be in the offing.

Other high profile performances on the night came from the likes of Metallica and Miley Cyrus – whose performance of ‘Two Drinks Minimum’ won her the approval of Lars Ulrich.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Brad Pitt and director Peter Berg have teamed up for a new documentary about the late Chris Cornell.

According to Variety, Cornell’s widow, Vicky, is producing the film which is being made through Berg and Pitt’s joint Film 45 production company.

Pearl Jam also claimed that Cornell’s death in May 2017 had affected the release of a new record – with the band admitting that his death had been a “tough one to wrap our heads around.”
