The latter's latest freestyle also took aim at Machine Gun Kelly and G-Eazy
Post Malone has labelled the rapper Yelawolf a “nerd” after he was targeted in the latter’s latest freestyle and accused of being an “appropriation thief”.
Yelawolf’s ‘Bloody Sunday’ track heard him take on Malone, G-Eazy and Machine Gun Kelly. The Alabama rapper addressed Malone by rapping: “I would diss Post Malone but he don’t even rap / Fuck it, fuck Post Malone, just because, let’s see if he answers back.
“All that change, tits, and funk chill bill, and the cowboy boots and hats / Damn Post, why can’t we be friends? Our clothes already match / Poser, biter, appropriation thief, give a fuck how many records you sold.” Hear the freestyle in the video below.
Malone has now responded to the jibe on Twitter, labelling Yelawolf a “nerd” and appearing to suggest that he won’t help promote the rapper’s upcoming album by entering into a war of words.
“This tweet is the only support I will offer his album,” he wrote. “Also @Yelawolf please show me all your chill bill shit please! Last I heard you was talking about how you wanted your shit like mine, I have a couple lenders, don’t worry!”
Post also appeared to make an offer to members of Yelawolf’s live band to join him when they were done with the latter’s “dookie” music – see the tweets below.
Yelawolf has since responded to Malone’s tweets, goading the rapper on Instagram as he urged him to record a response to ‘Bloody Sunday’ with G-Eazy and adding “thanks for the support asshole”.
Earlier this month, Malone made a plea to those people who’d been targeting his girlfriend online after her social media accounts were publicised.
