Primal Scream have announced a pair of intimate live dates in London and Brighton – check out details of the gigs below.
The band are gearing up for a busy season of shows on the festival circuit, with slots booked at such events as London’s All Points East Festival, Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington and Latitude Festival. They’ll also headline Edinburgh Summer Sessions in August.

Ahead of those festival shows, Primal Scream will play gigs in both London and Brighton in May. They’ll visit Brighton’s Haunt on May 20, before a gig at Scala in London the following day. Tickets for both of these smaller shows go on sale at 10am on April 18.

Next month, Primal Scream will release a new compilation, ‘Maximum Rock ‘N’ Roll: The Singles’. As the title suggests, it’ll be a full collection of the band’s singles, and it’s set for release on May 24.
Back in November, Bobby Gillespie was called a “miserable Jock” by BBC Politics host Andrew Neil after the pair shared an awkward TV appearance on the show. Primal Scream had shared a haunting mock-up of Neil following the infamous episode, where Gillespie refused to join the host and his fellow guests in dancing.
