Even more names confirmed for Glastonbury 2019 as Field Of Avalon line-up revealed


Frank Turner and Bananarama lead the latest wave of additions to Glastonbury 2019, as the Field Of Avalon line-up is confirmed.

After Stormzy, The Cure, The Killers and Janet Jackson were among the huge names on the first major announcement of this year’s line-up, this week also saw the likes of Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, Steel Banglez, Lady Leshurr, Ocean Wisdom, Four Tet, Miraa May, Ray Blk and many, many more announced for this year’s vast Silver Hayes bill.

Now the Field Of Avalon has announced a typically eclectic roster for their area at Glasto this June – featuring Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Bananarama, Jade Bird, Beans On Toast, Morcheeba, Reef, Skinny Lister, The Magic Numbers, The Shires among others. See their full line-up below.

It is expected that all of Glastonbury’s other individual areas will be releasing their 2019 line-ups in the days and weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, it has also been rumoured that US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been invited to speak at the event in June.

All tickets for Glastonbury 2019 are currently sold out, but a resale for unwanted tickets will take place on Sunday April 28.

As for next year, Glasto boss Michael Eavis has teased that Paul McCartney could be set to headline in 2020.
