Wireless line-up: who will perform at the festival in 2018?

Wireless Festival is back with its biggest, boldest line-up yet, bringing some of the best in grime and urban to North London’s Finsbury Park this July. Here’s what we know about this year’s event so far:

Wireless festival headliners

Friday: J. Cole

Why he’ll be great? With four number one albums under his belt, the heavyweight champion of hip-hop is sure to kick off the weekend in the right way, moving through hits such as ‘Power Trip’ and ‘No Role Modelz’. He’s moved up the Wireless ranks; he sub-headlined in 2016 but latest release, ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ has sent him to the top.

Saturday: Stormzy

Why he’ll be great? Last year, the blistering ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ became the first grime album to ever hit the top spot of the charts, and since he has been recognised as one of the pioneers that has given the grime generation a voice. Expect an explosive set, complete with the bangers that cemented his position as the kingpin of grime.

Sunday: DJ Khaled

Why he’ll be great? Major key! In an UK festival exclusive, the producer, personality and platinum artist is set to bring ‘special guests’ along with him to his headline set, which is lining up to be just as unpredictable as the man himself, who is renowned not only for his talent but for his skills, but his surprises too.
