Download Festival 2010 In Videos

Download Festival went down this past weekend, and NME covered it all. We’ve got a gallery of the best bits of Download and a blog about what we learnt. NME also has some video interviews and backstage footage, so be sure to watch them below.

First up, we’ve got the legend that is Slash making his way to the main stage in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look. NME also sat down with him, along with his vocalist Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge, for a few minutes of catching up.

NME chatted with Satchel and Lexxie Foxx from Steel Panther to talk about facelifts, gigs and groupies.

In another backstage video, we follow the Deftones as they make their way to the stage. You can also watch what Frank Delgado and Sergio Vega had to say about keeping the band together and Chi Cheng’s progress.

We also got to talk to Rolo Tomassi’s Eva Spence about her band’s new album, working with Diplo, being girly and her non-musical hobby. You can also watch the band making their way to the Download stage.

Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine talks to NME about playing at Download 2010 and recording a new track ‘Sudden Death’ exclusively for the new Guitar Hero game.

Finally, NME spoke with Matt from Bullet For My Valentine about headlining Download’s second stage, recording the new album and getting friendly with the Download mascot.
