As part of our #LifeHacks project, NME and the University of Salford are asking prominent figures from the creative industries to give an insight into their career journeys.
Each ’30 Seconds To Greatness’ video features a bitesize piece of advice, or a lesson learned, from people who have made it to the top in music, fashion, film, tech, and other creative industries.
This time, our words of wisdom come from producer, engineer and lecturer in Music Technology at the University of Salford Brendan Williams. Alongside lecturing he’s also produced albums for Dutch Uncles and GoGo Penguin
“My advice would be for people to be as passionate as possible” Williams says, “that’s what gets you where you want to be; that people see that passion and you inspire people to work with you.” Watch his full advice video above.
