Saturday 7th Nov: Manchester
Let’s hit the road one last time on this little UK run! Back through the mystic highlands and into England. We noticed a clump of trees formed in the exact shape of a dick along the way… well, Kam noticed it.
I’m stoked to be in Manchester – this was one of the best shows on the run we did with Katy in March… people were going crazy and having a lot of fun – we’re actually in the same room that we played with Katy, which is really exciting.
Pulling up into the city was really exciting – it’s always fun to think about all the bands that you know from a particular city, and try to picture their lives in their home cities when you are driving into them. The show was great – that room is really a great place to play. All sorts of crazy shit going down in the crowd. Tough to say what was better.. the Manchester gig or the Glasgow one.. Glasgow was more intimate.. Manchester was more epic. We had some post-tour drinks with everyone on the tour backstage, did some pushups, and yelled real loud. This little tour has been wonderful – I really can’t wait to get back out here in the UK and play again. I’m on the airplane home now. There’s a washed-up, acid-crawlback, older hippie lady sitting next to me invading my personal space. If you can read this please get off my shoulder. Thanks. Until next time, goodbye!
