Festival season is in full swing, and line ups are being thrown at us left right and centre. We’ve handpicked those special acts that you won’t want to miss at this year’s Creamfields.

Giggs: Saturday, Horizon Stage

Why he’ll be great? Everyone knows that you can rely on grime to get the people going, and this is certainly the case with Giggs. Quite a different vibe from the EDM scene that Creamfields is used to: expect tops off, mosh pits and mad energy.

Fatboy Slim: Sunday, Horizon Stage

Why he’ll be great? Dance veteran Norman Cook, AKA Fatboy Slim, knows his shit on the ones and twos, and has dominated festival headlines for decades. Expect funk, house, ska, rock and everything in between, plus crowds of boozy festival go-ers screaming ‘Praise You’ as the the sun sets on Creamfields for another year.

Stefflon Don: Saturday, Jampacked Stage

Why she’ll be great? One of the UK’s most exciting new rappers, Stefflon Don is set to deliver a special guest performance on the Saturday. The former NME cover star has collaborated with some impressive names including Giggs, Skepta and Lil Yachty, and a carefully curated mixture of dancehall, grime and smooth vocals will send you into a spiral of summer bliss.

Kurupt FM: Friday, Sub_Aural Stage

Why they’ll be great? UK Garage quintet and full-time roadmen MC Grindah, DJ Beats, Steves, Decoy and Chabuddy G will be kick-starting your weekend in a comical style. Whether the sun is shining or not, you’ll see Steves repping his trademark ear flap hat and MC Grindah in a full matching tracksuit. Get ready to throw up your K’s to aggressive, energetic lyricism and unkempt daftness, with lines such as, “With bandaged knuckles, I dipped ’em in glass, Leaving every MC up on their ass”.

Duke Dumont: Sunday, Mega Arena

Why he’ll be great? Dance music extraordinaire Duke Dumont is Creamfields’ special guest on Sunday and his deep house beats will inevitably electrify the crowd. With Number One single and certified banger “I Got U”, a mixture of heavy bass and smooth vocals, he’s the perfect man to ignite those summer vibes inside your soul.
