Although coming south of the river often can be greeted with a few eyebrows by snooty Londoners, south London has become a hub for movers and shakers in the music game (Stormzy, Krept & Konan) and on the big screen film (John Boyega of Star Wars). Its vibrant clubs like The Bussey Building are also becoming weaved into the very fabric of what makes London so great.
One man who we know just loves London is Drake. He headlined Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, he’s befriended London rapper Skepta, he loves TV show Top Boy (set in east London) and in February he gatecrashed a gig with Section Boyz at The Village Underground. We’d even go on record to say it might be his second favourite spot after Toronto. Hopefully.
But how well does he know the boroughs in SE1 and beyond? Well with the help of a new album artwork generator Drake’s Views, we can finally give Drizzy the much deserved tour of all of south London’s finest spots. Bussey Building? You betcha. Faraday Memorial in Elephant and Castle? Why not! The Maccabees loved it…
Check out Drake perched upon famous spots in the region, then if you’re feeling exotic, you can check him out perching on monuments around the globe.
