Death Cab For Cutie Unveil New Song ‘No Room In Frame’ – World Premiere

Death Cab For Cutie have unveiled ‘No Room In Frame’, a new song from their forthcoming eighth album ‘Kintsugi’ exclusively via NME.

The track comes just a few weeks after the band’s new-look line-up made their TV debut on David Letterman’s US chat show, with fresh recruits Dave Depper and Zac Rae joining longstanding members Ben Gibbard, Nick Harmer and Jason McGerr. They played lead single ‘Black Sun’, which the group had been playing on the road throughout 2014, along with other ‘Kintsugi’ tracks ‘The Ghosts Of Beverly Drive’ and the album’s title track ‘No Room In Frame’.

During the recording of ‘Kintsugi’, the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Codes And Keys’, multi-instrumentalist Chris Walla, who had been part of the line-up since 1997, announced he would be leaving the band, although he did stay on long enough to help complete the record.
