So the wait is over. The first new Glasvegas track in over a year was released over the weekend and it’s a beauty. ‘The World Is Yours’ (not to be confused with the recent Motorhead album of the same name) is the first fruit from the new LA-influenced, Flood-produced album, and it’s a shimmering faster five minutes than we’re used to that begins all ‘Killing Moon’ and features, dare we say it, some more complicated drumming than before. Has the departure of Caroline allowed James to create some more dynamic rhythms? Just a thought.
What do you think of the track?
