Enter Shikari, ‘Sssnakepit’ – Stream Three New Remixes

Enter Shikari are gearing up to release their third album ‘A Flash Flood Of Colour’ on January 15th – but until then, they’ve slipped us a few brand new remixes of their latest single ‘Sssnakepit’.

The ‘Sssnakepit Remix EP’ (which you can purchase here now) features re-works from Rout, Hamilton and Serial Killaz – but you can stream the whole thing online now.

Here’s the original Shikari tune:

Sssnakepit (Hamilton Remix)
Fancy hearing Enter Shikari go a bit Drum and Bass? Ram Records’ DJ/producer Hamilton gave the song the d’n’b treatment:

Sssnakepit (Rout Remix)
So this one’s kind of Shikari remixing Shikari, but we’ll take it. Frontman Rou Reynolds took it upon his alter ego Rout to remix his band’s track. Here’s what the main man had to say about the song:

The Sssnakepit is that horrible slithery slimy hole we all find ourselves in from time to time, where everyone in the world seems like a no good snake. This song is about clambering out and realising that people are only products of their environment and deserve compassion. In the end, it’s also a celebration of taking strength from friendship, and rising above it all.

Sssnakepit (Serial Killaz Remix)

Lastly, production crew Serial Killaz give ‘Sssnakepit’ a (as they call it) “Jungle Drum and Bass” make-over:

So what do you lot think of the remixes? Do they hold up to the original?
