If you go down to Glastonbury this year, be sure of a big surprise. Because setting up shop in Pilton’s nether regions once again will be Disco 2010 heroes Horse Meat Disco. If you’ve been sucked into their pulsating wormhole in previous years (it was located in The Downlow, somewhere between Shangri La and oblivion and a long, long way from the main stage) you’ll know what we’re talking about. You set out for a quick exploration of Glasto’s sideshows before bed, find yourselve in an NYC gay club pumping out hi NRG HMD-brand disco, dance all night, and end up chewing cud behind a portaloo as the sun rises on a day that you could have sworn was going to come after tomorrow.
With impeccable timing the team are realising the sequel to last year’s compilation, another writhing mix of shimmering disco and soulful vocals, and are offering up this half hour megamix as a taster.
1. Eastside Connection – ‘You’re So Right For Me’
