Glastonbury 2017 Ticket Rush: The Most Intense And Hilarious Twitter Reactions

After the initial batch of coach tickets sold out earlier this week, general admission tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2017 went on sale at 9am this morning, and they’d all gone by 9.55am. As ever, demand far outstripped supply and many fans found that the See Tickets website was buckling under the pressure of literally millions of visits from hopeful music fans. If you were lucky enough to snap up tickets, well done, congratulations, nice one, etc etc. Drinks are definitely on you this afternoon. If you didn’t manage to bag any this year, commiserations, better luck next time and keep checking NME’s Glastonbury tickets information page for updates about re-sale tickets that Michael Eavis and the gang will be making available in the spring.

Either way, take a deep breath and give your refreshing finger a well-earned rest, then look back at these intense, hilarious and sometimes rather desperate tweets sent out in the heat of today’s ticket-buying rush. However stressful you found today’s 9am mayhem, chances are the process was even more stressful for someone else out there. The things we do for Glastonbury, eh? And we don’t even know who this year’s headliners are going to be yet…
