Listen To Noel Gallagher’s ‘The Mexican’, Exclusively Remixed For Record Store Day 2016

Record Store Day is quite literally, right round the corner. On Saturday (April 16), vinyl enthusiasts will convene in record shops across the UK to nab some exclusive and limited edition discs. One of the hottest releases will be a brand new set of Noel Gallagher remixes – and you can hear one of them before you buy below.

‘The Mexican’, from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds second album ‘Chasing Yesterday’, has been remixed by French-born producer The Reflex (Nicholas Laugier) and will be able for fans to buy on 12” picture disc. The release, entitled ‘El Mexicano (The Reflex ‘La Revolucion’ Remixes)’, will feature three new mixes, including a vocal mix, a dub reworking and the instrumental remix from the disco producer.

Having been one of the best selling artists on vinyl of last year, it’s clear to see why Noel is keen to throw himself into supporting Record Store Day. “Record shops are as important as the records themselves,” he’s said. Right on, Noel.
