Metal Hammer Meltdown lands on NME Radio – What Do You Want To Hear?

Metal bible Metal Hammer’s taking over NME Radio every Sunday from 7pm-9pm from now on, with the magazine’s James Gill and Terry Bezer at the helm. Here’s what James Gill has to say about the new show. Make sure to comment what you want to hear on Sunday nights below.

“Sheesh, I’m so bad at these things… erm, I guess I wanna thank my manager (editor), my parents (pets) and God (Lucifer) for all the support they’ve given us. And of course NME Radio for giving us this opportunity to bring you the best in what’s new and heavy!

If you’re wondering what you’ll get from a metal show on NME Radio the answer is, a metal show (ie: a show with metal on). NME Radio made it very clear to us that what they wanted was a ‘proper’ metal show – ‘the real deal’. Which is lucky, because we’d have no idea how to do anything else.

So what you’ll from the Metal Hammer Meltdown is two hours of brand new and scorching metal from the best new and established bands, and the odd hat doff to the paragons of the genre. And of course your ever-humble hosts – the posher rocker and the cockney punk – will be leading the charge with the latest news, interviews and exclusive competitions.

So don’t be afraid, come on in, have a cuppa tea and have your ears mangled to a weeping pulp!
