N.A.S.A. Feat. MIA, Santogold, Spank Rock & Nick Zinner – Free MP3

You might have heard – or at least heard of – ‘The Spirit Of Apollo’ by now, the amazing new album from N.A.S.A. aka LA producer Squeak E. Clean and Brazilian DJ Zegon. The duo’s debut boasts a seemingly neverending roll call of hired talent, including all the names above alongside Cool Kids, David Byrne, Ghostface Killah, John Frusciante, Karen O and Tom Waits, to name less than half.

If you haven’t, this clip does a pretty good job of explaining the story so far. And it reveals another contributor George Clinton’s secret to eternal youth. (Clue: it involves pussy and prune juice rather than nappies).

Their first single ‘Money’, on which serial collaborator David Byrne goes head to head with Chuck D, Ras Congo, Seu Jorge and Z Trip, has been humping my ear drums on a daily basis for about six weeks now.

Our track today though is ‘Whatchadoin’, as remixed by Villains who you might know from recent re-edits of NYPC and Hot Chip.
