No Stone Roses At Glastonbury 2013 – Who Do You Want To Play?

Emily Eavis ruled out the Stone Roses playing Glastonbury 2012 on Twitter today after asking followers who they want to see at the festival. “Let us know as we gather all our ideas and get going!” she tweeted. Other big acts touted by the rumour mill since the last festival in 2011 are the Rolling Stones (50 years together), Radiohead (10 years since their last headline gig), Daft Punk (there’s a new album next year, apparently), Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks confirmed a tour in July) and Prince (he’s never done it). The last headliners were U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé.

The Worthy Farm line-up will have to cover a whole TWO years of new music, too, which is exciting. Could we see Skrillex headlining? Lana Del Rey on the Other Stage? Flying Lotus’ position at the vanguard of electronica should give him a leg-up over the fence. Haim, Toy, Palma Violets, Metz, Merchandise and Savages could represent newer bands. Personally, I’m holding out for a hologrammed K-Pop set.

Who are the top three acts you’d love to watch at Glastonbury next year? Let us know in the comments.
