This is pretty cool. Peter Blake, the artist best known for the sleeve design for The Beatles’ album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, has done something similar for a mural for the Royal Albert Hall.
It’s a montage of more than 400 stars who have performed at the iconic venue from its opening in 1871 to the present day and features music legends such as Noel Gallagher (no Liam), David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix to pivotal figures such as Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and J. K. Rowling. Morrissey, Adele, One Direction and Iggy Piop also appear, among loads more. It’s in three parts, above and below.
How many can you spot?
