Following on from the Prodigy remix of Jay-Z’s ’99 Problems’, here’s another few re-edits for you to take off into the night…
Straight outta Oslo, Harrys Gym bring some wintery vibes to proceedings with the help of Oxford’s silly-named Chad Valley. The band release second album ‘What Was Ours Can’t Be Yours’ in February.
Next, boy-girl disco aficionados Cordelier Club, whose ‘We Can Dance’ (B-side to ‘Don’t Let It Go By’, which is released Dec 6th) gets the treatment from The Royal Palms.
CFCF has recorded an echo-filled version of We Are Standard‘s ‘Other Lips, Other Kisses’ for the Spanish electro collective’s remix album ‘The Golden League’.
A Place To Bury Strangers, meanwhile, release a new EP on Nov 29th entitled ‘I Lived My Life To Stand In The Shadow Of Your Heart’, preceded by a date at ill-fated London venue XOYO on the 24th (here’s hoping the PA can withstand them). Broken Spindles (aka The Faint’s Joel Peterson) provide their take on the title track.
