Frankie & The Heartstrings release their debut album ‘Hunger’ next Monday (Feb 21) and we’re running an exclusive preview on NME.COM all week this week.
From David Lynch to Mike Leigh, Josef K to The Cramps, the album’s been inspired by all sorts. Produced by Edwyn Collins and hailed in an 8/10 review as “gloriously infectious” in this week’s NME, it’s a great start for the Wichita signings. Check it out here and let us know what you think. The band play a Shockwaves NME Awards Show at London’s Heaven on February 21.
In other news, Frankie & The Heartstrings recorded this somewhat unusual cover of Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ as a Valentine’s Day message to NME.COM users this week. Enjoy…
