Stream New Radiohead Track ‘Staircase’ – What Do You Think?

Another Radiohead missive surfaced online today. ‘Staircase’ is a pulsing, rythmic track taken from their forthcoming ‘From The Basement’ sessions, and this live performance sees the band augmented by the appearance of a second drummer, Get The Blessing’s Clive Deamer, who Philip Selway describes as “one of my favourite drummers”. There’s no ‘Lotus Flower’ moves here but the band are getting decidedly funky and we think we spot a bit of white man overbite from bassist Colin Greenwood about three minutes in.

The programme will air on July 1.
