Tribes – An Exclusive Stream Of ‘Wish To Scream’

Tribes are back with their second album, but Toto, doesn’t sound like we’re in Camden anymore.

For their second set ‘Wish To Scream’, Johnny and the boys headed out to LA to record in the legendary Sound City Studios, the same sacred dive as Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ and Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ were laid down. That means it could be one of the last records to be made in the iconic San Fernando studio, since its financial struggles were the subject for Dave Grohl’s documentary about the place. He bought the famous ‘Neve Console’ for his own studio to make the ‘Real To Reel’ album with the Sound City Players supergroup.

The trip clearly took its toll on Tribes, who have come up with a record fully imbued with America. We have an exclusive stream of the album right here. Has the history of Sound City rubbed off on Tribes, and has it been for the better? Let us know below, and check out this week’s NME for our verdict.
