Festival season may be over, but there’s still gigs galore to get yourself down the front to. We’ve been tumbling and stumbling out of venues ever since the last tent was put down, and Millie Cotton is no different. As October came to a close, she rocked up to Camden’s Electric Ballroom to see indie heroes Black Honey do their thing, and it went a little bit like this…
There's probably no better way to spend a night out in Camden than at its legendary Electric Ballroom. Millie got the memo.
And who better to see that Brighton's very own Black Honey, who released their self-titled debut album in September.
The merch stand is the highlight of any gig night, so Millie's checking out the offerings to see what unique style spin she can add to it.
Hundreds of fans packed into the venue to see cuts like 'Hello Today', 'Midnight' and more from Black Honey's album and a couple of old classics, too.
Millie's breezy outfit is perfect gig attire - cool and mobile. Not standing on the barrier helps, too.
Lead singer Izzy B Phillips is already one of indie's most formidable leaders - and their Electric Ballroom show proved just why.
Despite all the headbanging, Millie's VO5 Tame & Shine Spray keeps things under control.
Another night out in the bag!
