Ever Wondered What It’d Be Like If David Bowie, Gollum and 258 Film Characters Sang ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’?

Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ has a glorious association with film. In Wayne’s World, the gang provided some hairy headbanging to the track, and earlier this year, Suicide Squad utilised Freddie Mercury’s vocals to create one of the best trailers in recent memory.

Now, someone with far too much time on their hands has collected and welded together scenes from 260 films to create a rather disjointed but very cool cover of the Queen classic. Gollum takes the lead at one point, as does Giovanni Ribisi’s heartbreaking death scene in Saving Private Ryan. It really kicks off when Brian May’s immortal guitar line comes in, with help from Marty McFly (Back To the Future), David Bowie (Labyrinth) and the hellish guitar shredder from last year’s Mad Max. There’s even a nod to the Wayne’s World scene to bring it full circle. Reckon you’ve seen all the films in the clip? The creator has also given a handy and extensive list of (nearly) every single movie used, which you can see below.
