Where Can UK Motörhead Fans Watch Lemmy’s Funeral This Weekend?

This Saturday, January 9, the funeral of the mighty Lemmy will take place in the Stoke-On-Trent-born icon’s adopted hometown of Los Angeles.

The event at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery is restricted to friends and family only, but will be livestreamed on Motorhead’s official YouTube channel, and the band themselves have urged fans to watch the ceremony at their local bars and clubs. “Wherever you are, please get together and watch with fellow Motörheadbangers and friends. Go to your favorite bar, or your favorite club, make sure they have access to an internet connection and toast along with us,” wrote the band. Lemmy’s own favourite dive, The Rainbow Bar & Grill, will be doing just that and venues and bars across the UK will be following suit.

We’ve got together a list of bars which will be screening the event or hosting a Lemmy tribute night here in the UK, but we’re sure other venues will doing the same across the globe. “Whatever your venue, and however you can, let’s be sure to gather globally on Saturday and celebrate the life of our dear friend and irreplaceable icon,” add the band. The service kicks off at 11pm UK time, and will last for an hour and half. Make sure your glass is full, in order to fittingly toast the life of a legend.
