Which Members Of Massive Bands Are Criminally Underrated? NME Readers Have Their Say

Last year, Ringo Starr became the final Beatle to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist – 21 years after John Lennon was given the nod, 16 after Macca and 11 years after George Harrison. Though Ringo’s solo career never quite reached the peaks of his band mates, it still feels somewhat of a sleight on the drummer’s contribution to the rock and roll canon to have withheld the honour for so long, which got us thinking – which other band members from seminal musical outfits are bizarrely underrated?

We asked NME readers using the hashtag #underratedbandmembers and found people passionately championing the cause of overlooked musicians across the spectrum, from Kasabian’s old bassist Chris Karloff to, er, Bradley from S Club 7. Here are the best of the responses. Agree? Disagree? Let us know in the comments.
