‘X-Files’ Re-Opened – Watch This 21-Minute Behind-The-Scenes Preview Ahead Of The New Series

Ahead the show’s upcoming revival, a new feature-length behind-the-scenes clip has been unveiled for the new-look X-Files.

Featuring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who reprise their roles of Agents Mulder and Scully, the 21-minute video also includes interviews with series creator Chris Carter, executive producer Glen Morgan and others, as they tease what to expect from the forthcoming series.

“We want to satisfy the mythology of it,” Duchovny says in the clip. Watch in full beneath.


The six-episode series premieres on Fox in the US on January 25, airing in the UK on Channel 5, although a UK broadcast date has not yet been confirmed.

The cult sci-fi show originally aired on Fox for nine seasons between 1993 and 2002 and also spawned a pair of spin-off films, released in 1998 and 2008. Watch a trailer for the 2016 series below.
