Car Seat Headrest Maintains The Hype On New Single ‘Fill In The Blank’

Prolific US newcomer Will Toledo has released a trio of amazing tracks in as many months now, firmly establishing himself internationally as one of 2016’s most exciting new talents.

‘Fill In The Blank’ is the most single-like track yet from ‘Teens Of Denial’, Toledo and Car Seat Headrest’s May 20-released album on Matador. Whereas the brilliant ‘Vincent’ spluttered into action over three long minutes of guitar twiddling and then rollicked along like Rocket From The Crypt partying at Beck’s house in 1994, ‘Fill In The Blank’ is punky and tight, an agitated ball of disdain and power chord riffs. Already a seasoned DIY songwriting vet, it’s the sound of Toledo growing into a fabulously confident studio kingpin.
