Dama Scout raise the bar on buzzing new banger ‘Suzie Wong’

Sometimes going back to the beginning proves rather fruitful. For Dama Scout, their new song ‘Suzie Wong’ was born out of returning to their beginnings – namely a ‘child’s guitar’, which became the backbone behind their huge track.

But that doesn’t affect the maturity that marry off-kilter melodies and buzzing production on this delightful number. It’s the first taste of their self-titled debut EP, which is due out on November 10, as the trio showcase that they can seamlessly blend classic indie influences with modern pop sensibilities. A dreamy concoction from one of London’s most promising new bands.
